Uploading a photo is easy and free . Just complete the simple form with all the correct information. Hit the upload button and we will do the rest. Due to the importance of keeping the site up to date, easy to use and of a good standard, please read the following information carefully:

Your photos are protected by international copyright laws and we would recommend that you read the usage information , before uploading your photos.

We only accept good quality photos, so before you upload a photo please make sure that you have spent some time scanning the photo and use your photo programs to get the best result.

Your contact e-mail address will be available for views of your photos to enable people to contact you direct, should anybody wish to use or purchase your photo.

Image size: You need to resize the image so that it's dimensions are proportionate with 100% width and 75% length. eg. an image that is 1024px wide (using this as 100%) should be 768px high (75% of 1024). Minimum size 1000X750 pix. (NEW SIZE)

The upload script will accept JPG files only.

Please save all the photos as a .jpg file with a minimum compression. Failing to save a photo with minimum compression will give a blocking affect, thus, having your photo rejected due to low quality.

Please enter the section that best describes the image that you will upload. If the photo doesn't apply to any of the sections please do not enter it into any. Entering photo into the wrong section will result in an automatic rejection. The reason for this is to help viewers to the site find what they are looking for easily and quickly. Please enter your photo in a maximum of two sections.

The F1 photo must be clear and not obstructed.

Please ensure that you fill out all the correct information on the upload form, this may increase the hits you get on your photo. Incorrect identification will result in an automatic rejection.

Many people have their first photos rejected but don't let that put you off. This will only help the quality of the site thus increasing visitor numbers.

The best thing to do is upload five at a time to see whether they are of the correct standard.

We aim to screen photos within 24 hrs but as the site gets more popular this time may increase. If this happens we will aim to have more screeners available.

F1-Photos.net has the final say whether the photos are accepted or rejected. Please respect our judgment.

Remember that although there are a lot of rules, this site is easy to add your photos to and without the help of the photographer this site would not exist.

What happens after upload?

All photos added will go through a screening process. After your photo has been screened you will get an e-mail to confirm whether the photo has been accepted or rejected. If accepted, go to the latest shot section to view your photo.

Rejected photos will get an automatic rejection e-mail. A photo will be rejected due to one or more of the following reasons:
